| Rover Alcisa presents the work of La Marquesa Dam to the Spanish Committee on Large Dams |

The reconstruction of La Marquesa Dam, work sponsored by the Hydrographical Confederation of river Júcar and by Rover Alcisa, has been presented to the Spanish National Committee on Large Dams for their exemplary performance, an act that took place in the Madrid headquarters of the Engineering College in Civil and Ports in the framework of the Second Annual Conference on international Innovation and Technology on Dams and Ponds.
Joseph Polimón, President of the Spanish National Committee on Large Dams, chaired this day, which was held in the room Agustín de Betancourt the main room in the College. The event also included the presence of a prominent branch of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, as well as the Ministry of Development, it was also chaired by leading figures from the Hydrographical Confederation of River Júcar and other from CEDEX, ACUAMED, and professionals and academics from the Spanish University and executives of construction companies, consultancies and companies such as Iberdrola, Endesa, Union Fenosa and Tragsa.
The presentation of the reconstruction of the Weir of la Marquesa, was given by the Engineer of Roads, Channels and Ports and site manager of Rover Alcisa, Javier Cabañero, a work which direction was carried out by the Hydrographical Confederation of River Júcar and has been run by Jose López, Engineer on Roads, Channels and Ports, Jose Lopez Garaulet, from the Public Works Engineering, Esperanza Ortiz-Quintana and by the Industrial Engineer, Juan Luis Blanco Matea.
